Swim Team Friends,

Well, yesterday was just awesome! Thank you to the more than 50 friends who attended our Coaches Meet & Greet. We have THE BEST swim team family in all the land. :-) Coach Nicole, Coach Persy, Coach Turner and our Team Reps loved seeing you all. 

We want to congratulate raffle winners Anna Hardin (Girls 7/8) and Laney Bentley (Girls 9/10)! They are the recipients of movie tickets to The Springs Cinema & Taphouse!

Your movie tickets are in your mailboxes to pick up! A very big THANK YOU to The Springs Cinema & Taphouse for donating these tickets to our team. They have been so supportive of our program and we are most grateful.

Whether you attended the event or not (boo! :-)) there are 5 KEY ACTION ITEMS that we need you guys to jump on: (trust us, you do these, and you will be golden)

1) Order a team suit(s) for your athlete(s). We announced back in March that our team has a brand-new suit design this year (it is not black). Please be sure your swimmer is fitted and has the suit in hand prior to our first meet on May 28^th. You have a couple of options on fittings:

Swim Atlanta (the company supplying the swim suits) has two shop locations that you can travel to with your swimmer(s). There is a size kit at either location and all the employees can help fit your child.

• Swim Atlanta Johns Creek (4050 Johns Creek Parkway, Suwannee 30024, 770-622-1735)

• Swim Atlanta Sugarloaf (4850 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 702, Lawrenceville 30044, 678-442-7946)
• Order online through The Barracuda Shop and utilize the online size chart (scroll down on the page to see girls and boys).

2) Bookmark our website and start marking your calendar with dates. The website has been loaded since the beginning of March with ALL swim team dates – this includes practices, meets, time trials, socials, swim clinics (NEW!), picture day, etc. This site is going to be the tool to make your life SO MUCH EASIER! We have purposefully gone out of our way to ensure the site is loaded with literally everything!

3) Download the SwimTopia app on your mobile device (from your app store) for easy phone access to our website.

4) Like the pool’s Facebook page to receive updates, announcements and more!

5) Sign-up for RainedOut, the mobile text alert system. The system provides you with real-time practice or meet cancellation plus urgent announcements.

We can’t sign-off before we remind you that there are only 2 days left to take advantage of early-bird registration pricing. As of April 16^th, prices go up $15.00 per swimmer.
