Requirements
Swimmers
- Swimmers must be 5-18 years old to be on team.
- Swimmers must turn 5 by May 31st
- As defined by the Atlanta Swimming Association, swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool independently.
- All new 5-8 age swimmers will be evaluated by the coaching staff before being placed on the team.
- Swimmers must:
- be able to fully and comfortably submerge their face and body underwater
- be able to float flat on their back
- be able to swim one length of the pool independently
- Swimmers may not attend practice without completing the registration and payment process.
- Age groups are determined by the swimmers age on May 31st.
Volunteers
- Every swim team family is expected to volunteer a minimum of 4 jobs per season by working the meets, either home or away, or volunteering at other team social events. There are no exceptions. Sign ups will open after the parent kickoff meeting in April.
