Swim Team Friends,

We have some key deadlines to communicate and exciting news to share!

Registration

Most important – swim team registration closes exactly 1 week from today. By end-of-day Wednesday, April 30^th, we will lock our registrations. We are more than 100 swimmers strong and are happy to take on more! Refer a friend, sign-up a sibling, recruit a newbie. Let’s work together to keep the momentum going of building a stellar swim family.

Merchandise

We have a lot of NEW clothing and swim accessory items in our Barracuda Shop! If you were thinking about purchasing anything, please be aware of these deadlines in order to have your items prior to the first meet:

Personalized swim caps – must be ordered by April 26^th. Place your order here.
Towels (personalized or logoed) – must be ordered by April 27^th. Place your order here. Scroll down on the page.
Tanks, T-shirts and hoodies – must be ordered by May 3^rd. Place your order here. Scroll down on the page.

News

You may be pleased to hear that the Mountaire Park Pool Board has been working hard to get the pool ready to go for our swimmers. And this means…the pool HEATER IS ON AND WORKING! Your swimmers can expect a water temp in the mid to high 70s when swim team kicks off. Trust us, we are on top of this! :-)
Swim clinics have been added to the website. This year, these are FREE! Take a look at the schedule to decide which clinic topic you may want to attend.

We have a NEW Team Handbook filled with TONS of details about our program including policies, procedures, team philosophy, rules, volunteer criteria, communications, meet information and more. This is an excellent resource to help swim team families navigate the Summer league swim program successfully. Check it out.
Be aware that we have an all-hands parent meeting on Monday, May 6th 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM at Mountaire Park pool 2nd floor pavilion. Whether you are a newbie or an oldie but goodie, plan on attending. The swim program is evolving and we want to make sure you are along for ride!
