Swim Team Friends,

As you all know, our 4th meet of the season was completed last night. Thank you again to the swimmers, volunteers and families who attended and stepped up to cover for our team. We were thrilled to present you with Baskin Robbins ice cream coupons today at the ribbons and Swimmer of the Week ceremony.

And speaking of our Swimmers of the Week, we are thrilled to celebrate Mary Kate Derrer (7-8 girls) and Kelly Cooper (13-14 boys) during practice this morning. These guys deserve it! They show up for practice consistently, they demonstrate good sportsmanship and they go the extra mile for their team (especially in last night's meet). Both Mary Kate and Kelly took on added events for the team and Mary Kate swam her first IM and ROCKED IT! Check out Mary Kate and Kelly on our website and FB page. Okay folks..down to business, we’ve got some critical deadlines/announcements that we need to remind you of, and you need to act on:

1. SWIM CLINIC TODAY(6/19) from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM - focus is on flip turns. This clinic is geared towards swimmers 7 and up. The swim team will have 2 lanes reserved for this clinic while the rest of the pool is open to the public. This clinic is free to attend – all you need to do is show up.

2. MEET DECLARATION DEADLINE TODAY (6/19) BY 5:00 PM – You must declare your swimmer(s) TODAY by 5:00 PM for the 5th swim meet taking place on Monday, June 24th. THAT IS MONDAY FOLKS - NOT TUESDAY. We want to stress the following please:

• When you sign up, really think about if you can make it. It is very hard on our team to have cancellations last minute.
• When you sign up, ensure that you are going to stay for the entire meet.
• Even if you are not planning to swim, you must declare your swimmer(s). Everyone must declare no matter if “yes” or no matter if “no”.
• Not sure how to declare? 3. End-of-Season Awards Banquet: RSVP deadline on Saturday, June 22nd (we are not taking walk-ins)

• Our end-of-season awards banquet is fast approaching (Thursday, June 27th)
• Please find an invite attached
• The event will include a catered dinner (bourbon chicken, rice, green beans, mac & cheese, assorted drinks & dessert), free swim and pool games plus our much-anticipated awards presentation
• The banquet is $10/per person to attend (there is a $40.00 family cap, please RSVP for all family members and pay upfront even if the total is over the cap, we will reimburse you on the back end)
• The RSVP status of this event was recently reset to accommodate for online charges therefore if you already RSVPed, please do it again. RSVPs are requested by Saturday, June 22nd (we are not taking walk-ins)
• Please RSVP here and scroll down to the “End-of-Season Awards Banquet” listing and click on the green RSVP button. Be sure to RSVP for all members of your family attending

• ASA Divisionals swim meet: Wednesday, June 26th 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
• End-of-Season Awards Banquet: Thursday, June 27th 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (RSVP requested by Saturday, June 22nd)
• ASA Championship Finals swim meet: Saturday, June 29th from 11 AM – 2 PM and 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
