Swim Team Friends,

Well, we didn't complete swim team season without a bang! Quite literally. What a show from our Atlanta sky last night. Thanks for braving it with us. You might find this interesting...out of our "pod" of 26 swim teams, 22 ended in ties last night because they couldn't complete the meet. So there you have it folks...we weren't in it alone!

In our short week of practice and shortest meet of the year (or likely in your swimmer's lifetime), we've got some really special Swimmers of the Week to celebrate. How fortunate we are to have Ryan Burn (7-8 boys) and Riley Blatt (11-12 girls) on our team? These guys are very much the heart and spirit behind our team! They always arrive with a smile and their positive attitudes are contagious. They demonstrate kindness and really make waves in the pool. We are so proud of Ryan and Riley. Check out Ryan and Riley on our website and FB page. A friendly reminder that 27 members of our team are participating in Divisionals tomorrow. We are so proud of this crew. They will be at Georgia Tech tomorrow from 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM.

Not to be missed is our End-of-Season Awards Banquet: Thursday, June 27th 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. We are 178 strong and we look forward to celebrating with everyone. Please remember, you must have RSVPed and pre-paid to attend. Also, there will be plenty of time to swim however please be aware that during our awards presentation, swimming will not be permitted in the pool. This is out of respect for our awards recipients and our volunteer organizers who have put together a very special presentation for you. Please set expectations now with your swimmers.
