Swim Team Friends,

What a night! Our 1st in-person meet of the season and everyone rose to the occasion. And how much FUN was that?! A very different and wonderful energy when you are swimming head-to-head with another team. We saw so many smiling faces and we were so happy to hear from spectators and swimmers about how much fun they were having.

THIS. TEAM. ROCKS. We WON the meet tonight against the Hammond Hills Hammerheads. The score was 419 Mountaire to 374 Hammond Hills. Wow, wow, wow! 4-0 BABY! We will provide a copy of the final meet sheet to you later this week so you can see times against the other team.

Most importantly, we saw A LOT of acts of kindness and sportsmanship amongst our swim team community tonight. We will be recognizing the athletes we noticed demonstrating thoughtful hearts at swim practice tomorrow and Thursday and awarding them with buddy jump passes to Altitude Trampoline Park. We are so proud of you all. Truly. That is what we are all about.

A HUGE shout out to our coaching staff (Coach Danielle, Coach Sam, Coach Turner, Coach Palmer, Coach Molly, Coach Stella and Coach Ellie) for their tremendous dedication to our program and our swimmers. They work SO hard behind the scenes (when you don't even see them) putting together our meet line-ups. 

Also, can we talk about our parents and volunteers?! We may be biased (but we really just speak the truth), but this community of parents is THE. BEST. To be asked "what can I do to help" by so many of you, is just awesome. Thank you to our parents for "rolling up your sleeves" and getting it done...with a smile. We would give you Altitude Trampoline Park buddy jump passes too but something tells us you may prefer a comfy seat and beverage instead. :-)
