Swim Team Friends,

Tonight. Is. It. Our final in-season swim meet of 2021! Wow. Absolutely incredible what our Barracudas have accomplished. I mean...who needs Olympic swim trials when you have THE BARRACUDAS?! 

Here's a few reminders:

1) We swim in rain! Regardless of the weather situation, plan to be at the meet. 

2) If you signed up to swim or volunteer, we are counting on you. Please remember, if you "scratch", that affects other swimmers who are in relays plus we lose points and other Barracudas don't have a chance to swim in events they could have been in.

3) Team Reps are on the lookout for "good"! We will be handing out buddy passes to Altitude Trampoline Park to kids demonstrating acts of kindness and sportsmanship.

4) BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FROM COACH TURNER TODAY! If we win this swim meet tonight, he will shave his head!!!!!! Furthermore, he will let the highest scoring swimmers shave his head!!!!! WHAT?! 

5) For added entertainment tonight, event 86 will be a relay with Coaches and Team Reps. Oh yes. We are dusting off our swim caps and goggles to brave the freestyle relay...or maybe something more interesting is up our sleeves... Swimmers can make us do 20 pushups afterwards if we don't all do flip turns and touch the wall properly. :-) 

Oh goodness...what fun this has been! We love swimming with you. Now let's bring home some metal.
