Mountaire Park Barracudas - Week 3 Gear Up and Time Trials
Swim Team Friends,
Another week is in the books, aren't we fortunate to swim in such a beautiful setting? If we keep finding so many frogs in the pool at practice we might have to consider rebranding the team! Coach-in-Training Emily is our official amphibian relocator.
Today’s email is long, here’s what we’re covering: Time trials, schedule, meet declaration and volunteer sign up.
- Time Trials/Practice: Time trials are here- we will run the kids through all their meet events for times. These times allow us to place them in the appropriate order for next week’s meet. Trials run all three days! 6U swimmers only swim two strokes in meets so they will transition to regular practice if they complete trials. Older age groups swim a greater variety of strokes and distances so trials will take all three days to complete.

If your swimmer is not declared by the 5/27 deadline, they will not be able to participate in the 1st meet!

This is a busy week before the long holiday weekend, and we return from that break right into our first meet. Weather is looking soggy but remember, we do swim in rain. We will advise the group on any practice cancellations or delays. If you have questions about any of the above, please email us [email protected].
We love swimming with you!
