Mountiare Park Barracudas- Announcing Our Swimmers of the Week & Final Events of the Season

Swim Team Friends,

It’s a joy to announce Chase Storc (11-12 boys) and Emma Grace Derrer (13-14 girls) as our Swimmers of the Week! Chase had a great meet, setting new personal best times, and Emma Grace stepped up to help coach the Barracudas this week. Thank you to Chase and Emma Grace for demonstrating such great sportsmanship, commitment and enthusiasm.

We’re deep in preparation for our busiest week of the season, and we need YOUR help with a super special project! This team wouldn't be possible without our dedicated coaching staff, and we want to recognize them in a big way at the banquet. Can you and your swimmer write a thank you card to some of your favorite coaches? A quick note relaying a special memory, funny moment, favorite stroke they learned, drawing of a barracuda…anything works! If you aren’t in town next week you can even shoot us an email and we’ll include it. Please bring cards with you to the banquet and we’ll present these tokens along with a gift from the team. PRACTICE: Monday, June 27th:
- 8:30 AM-9:15 AM 6&U/&-8
- 9:15 AM-10:00 AM 9-10
- 10:00 AM-10:45 AM 11&UP
CONCESSION DROP OFF FOR MEET 5: Monday, June 27th 8:30 AM - 10:45 AM
- PLEASE purchase exactly what is requested (size, brand, quantity).
- Bring your items to the upper pavilion.
- If there is an exception to the delivery time, it is marked on the sign-up page.
- Mark your item with your name so that we can check you off the list.
MEET 5 SWIM MEET: Monday, June 27th st (HOME vs. Huntcliff)
- 4:30 PM arrival for swimmers & 1st shift volunteers
- 5:15 PM warm-up
- 5:30 PM meet start
- 6:30 PM arrival for 2nd shift volunteers
PRACTICE: Tuesday, June 28th:
- 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM Practice for ASA Divisional Swimmers Only(ALL AGES)
- 9:45 AM-10:15 AM Ribbons & Swimmers of the Week Ceremony (ALL AGES) - no post-ceremony swim
ASA CHAMPIONSHIP: Wednesday, June 29th
- 4:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- This is just for those swimmers that registered
- An email is coming with all details
END-OF-SEASON AWARDS BANQUET: Thursday, June 30th
- 5:00 PM-8:00 PM
