Mountaire Park Barracudas-Swim Meet Information & Final Events of the Season
Swim Team Friends,
Wow how are we in the final stretch of the season already! The kids have been doing great all season and we can’t believe it will be over soon. Let’s finish strong because we still have a lot to do in the next week and half.
It’s a joy to announce Mallie Bledsoe (7-8 girls) as our Swimmer of the Week! Mallie was determined to master flip turns to improve her freestyle time and that is exactly what she did. Congratulations!
SWIM MEET INFORMATION:
Kids will get markup at practice in this morning, this makes it so much easier for the bullpen parents (we don’t have many this meet) when kids arrive at the meet.
The address for the Brittany Club pool is 3359 Breton Circle, Atlanta 30319. There will be some parking in our parking lot and the rest of the families can park on the streets of the subdivision. We ask that you park on only one side of the street. We will have "no parking" signs on one side of the street to help guide your families on which side to park.
Brittany Club’s concession stand will have hamburgers, hot dogs, candy, chips and drinks. Please bring small bills if possible, but they do plan to have a Square account running so that we can take credit/debit cards. Burger/hot dog, chip, and drink combo will be $5 for the plate.
Weather is not looking great right now, plan for rain. Should there be rain/thunder/lightening delay, they do have the clubhouse and terraces where people can seek safe shelter to wait out any delays. Families are also welcome to wait out any delays in their cars. Reminder, we will clear the deck for 30mins when thunder is heard, the coaches, team reps and starter will assess and make a plan if the meet has to be cancelled and postponed to another day.

- 4:30 PM arrival for swimmers & 1st shift volunteers
- 5:00 PM warm-up
- 5:30 PM meet start
- 6:30 PM arrival for 2nd shift volunteers
- Wednesday June 21st: Swim Across America Fundraiser
- Remember to bring a can of pineapple and $5 donation to swim
