Great job at the meet last night! We didn't win but everyone swam well and our times keep improving. Also, thanks to all the parents who eagerly stepped in to fill in our volunteer holes - that made your swim moms' night so much better!

We need a little help from our parents making sure our swimmers are doing well inside the pool as well as outside of the pool. A few areas we need some improvement....

1. Several times we had to get kids out from behind the fence by the basketball court. There are copperhead snakes back there and parents need to make sure their kids are not going back there to retrieve balls.
2. Trash!!! Your swim moms, coaches and lifeguards cleaned up WAY TOO MUCH TRASH last night. Several of our swimmers were seen just dropping trash on the ground and behind the benches by the basketball court was completely covered with trash. Please clean up after yourselves and make sure your children to do so as well. Our next 2 meets are away and it would be an embarrassment if we left their pool the way we left ours.
3. Keep your swimmers out of the pool if they are not swimming in a race.
4. Parking - do not stop and block the road coming into the pool to quickly drop off or pick up your swimmer. One member almost hit another car that was parked where it should not have been yesterday.

Our pool is a wonderful community to be part of - let's all do our part to keep it that way.
