Barracudas,

We are off to a great start with our swim season. It's great to see old teammates and meet new ones! We will try to keep the emails to a minimum but know if you are receiving one, it's because we have some important information to pass on to you!

SWIM TEAM FUN NIGHT!!! - Everyone come to the pool on Saturday, May 20th from 4:00-700 for a fun time of food and games. Coaches will have some fun competitions planned. Parents, you won't need to cook! We'll be selling pizza and drinks. SteelCityPops will also be there selling delicious popcicles. So bring some cash, relax and have fun!
VOLUNTEERING - Swim team requires lots of parent involvement to work. Make sure your family signs up for 4 different meets at https://mountairebarracudas.swim-team.us/
- Login with your email and the password will be "welcome" if you have not changed it. Select "Calendar" and you will see a large "V" on each of our meet days (5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20 and 6/26). Select your volunteer job and then make sure to hit "save" or your selection will not be make. Attached is a list of the job descriptions for your help in selecting the job that best fits you.
- You have until May 26th to sign up otherwise your loving swim moms will find a perfect spot for you to work. Please make our job easier by signing up first .
ROSTER CHECK OFF - We want to make sure your swimmer is successfully on our roster! If you haven't met the swim moms yet, please stop by and introduce yourself and check that our roster is correct. WE DID HAVE 2 SWIMMERS THAT MYSTERIOUSLY WERE DELETED FROM THE ROSTER. We'd hate to find out your swimmer was not on the roster at the meet and he/she not be able to swim.
PARENT MEETING - We will have 2 parent meetings (same info offered 2 different days.) Please try to attend one, especially if you are new. We will cover important information and be able to answer any questions. The meetings will be on Friday, May 19th and Tuesday, May 23rd at 5:00pm.
SWIM BAGS - The swim bags are selling quickly and we have a limited supply left. Contact Cynthia McDonald at [email protected] to get yours before they run out! Order form is below.
SWIM SUITS - If you still need a swim suit for your swimmer, go to the following link: http://store.swimshop1.com/mountaire-swim-team-c137.aspx. If you want to avoid shipping charges, you can stop by any of The Swim Shop's POPUP stores on their website (www.swimshop1.com). Don't worry if the color is different on the website, the order will be for a black suit.
