Hey Everyone!

First I would like to say thank you all so much for such an amazing first summer with your children and I am so excited for what the future brings!  I had a wonderful time helping them all become better swimmers and want to thank you all again for giving me and my staff the opportunity to be a part of their lives!  This experience was so rewarding and I feel so lucky to have found you all! 

As you may already know, I also coach for Buckhead Aquatics during the school year.  For those of you who do not already swim year-long for another club, I would like to take a quick second to tell you a little about our program!  BA is very similar to what we have done here this summer and as always our primary focus is stroke instruction!  We want to make sure your swimmer knows how to do it correctly before they do it a lot!:)  Especially with our younger groups, every day we work on something different and we drive to make sure that your child comes home with a new skill every day!  We also do drylands training everyday, a program that has been developed by a professional trainer for each age group, and we also have a nutritionist that comes in periodically and helps our swimmers learn about proper nutrition and how to eat for athletics! 

Our practices are offered M-TH's and you can come as much or as little as you want, and we like for the younger swimmers to come about twice a week.  Unlike summer, this is a long season so a couple days a week is plenty to keep them learning while not burning them out or making them start to dislike the sport-and we have to make sure they like what they are doing so they are all ready to come back and have an even better season next summer!!!  

We have 4 groups, with group 1 being 5-7 yr olds, group 2 being 8-10's, group 3 is 11-12's, and group 4 is 15&ups.  We swim at Westminster for the majority of the season and also have stints at Second Ponce Church in Buckhead and Lovett School for the older kids.  To get a complete breakdown of groups, ages, locations, and costs, go to buckheadaquatics.com and click on the "registration Info" tab.
